Metal fibers have the following characteristics: (1) Metal fibers can operate at temperatures of 500-590°C (930-1100°C), and may be used in more complex systems in the future. (2) Metal fibers are better than ceramic filter media in terms of high pressure drop, purification capacity and stability at high temperature. (3) The metal fiber has an irregular section and a conventional surface area, which makes it have a very large specific surface area.
